What We do
Provide Community
The Gap is a Community space where Christian Parents and Allies of LGBTQ+ youth (ages 18+) can come for support, open dialogue and resources in the intersection of faith and sexuality/gender expression.
Peer-to-Peer Support
We aim to provide a warm, low-pressure environment where people can take part in peer-to-peer support, have honest (and sometimes tough) conversations in a safe space. We recognize that people come from various theological backgrounds and differing beliefs and do not promote a particular theological view. All are welcome and wanted as part of our little community.
Community Outreach
We reach out to the LGPTQ+ community and their loved ones to offer support. The Gap isn’t about everyone needing to agree or come to the same theological point of view—it’s about making sure our families have space to share experiences, support and resources.
Sharing the love
This group has been such a monumental blessing for me I so appreciate the support and community I have found in my Gap family to know I’m not alone and that we can stand strong together in our faith
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for creating this group it’s so needed in our community
I highly recommend checking it out
